Granola, flea bitten mongrels and gradient walls

I made some granola yesterday.

This recipe is the base. I was missing a few of the additions (for example, I only had craisins, no currants [where would one get those anyway?] or raisins). I think peanut butter would be a good addition, too.  Anyway, it turned out really well, unlike my last attempt! Yum.

Also, I still have my parent's Dachshund, Greta. She is leaving tomorrow.  Here is Greta, my dog Liesel and I about to watch Glee on my bed this very moment. Don't you love the internet?  I can watch the shows I like whenever I want.

My boyfriend and I have a joke about the dachshunds. Actually, I think I am the only one who thinks it's funny because I made it up. And sorry, this is kinda gross.

Q: What's brown, tubular shaped and smelly?

A: Greta and Liesel.

Tricked ya, didn't I? Okay, enough grossing out. Sorry again. Moving on.

Um, have you ever thought of painting gradient walls? I saw this picture at A Kapple A Day and thought it looked amazing.

I'm pretty sure it's the light that's making the wall look like it's painted with a gradient, it shows what it a gradient would look like.  Seriously, how awesome would that be on the walls of a bedroom or something? I bet it would be a lot of work. Or at least more work than a regular wall painting.

Okay, going to watch Glee now. I cheated and read some recaps earlier today, looks like it's a fun one.
